Hey Guys, I'm installing a power trunk latch in my 83 bird. I have the button in the glove box clipped into the wiring harness and I'm just wondering where the wire for the latch in the trunk is ??? Does any one have a wiring diagram with the power trunk latch wiring in it?

Is the circular 3 pin connector in the trunk, mounted on the left side under the back deck the one for the power trunk release? I'm wondering if maybe the wiring harness I have does not have wiring for the trunk switch in it.

The 88 EVTM says the trunk release solenoid is part of the trunk latch assembly. It shows a P/Y wire coming from the release switch and BK wire coming out of the solenoid and running to ground C206. Based in the single wire I'm seeing in the diagram, I wouldn't bet on a 3 pin connector unless there is another circuit for something else. This is a 1988 schematic.
