I've got a power steering leak and steering has begun to get a bit jerky with more whining than normal. I crawled under the car this morning to start looking around and the fitting for the high pressure hose into the rack is very loose.
It wiggles left/right and up/down. I'm about to go do some serious cleaning under there to see if that is actually where the leak is, but my main question is how do you get a wrench on those fittings to tighten them up or take the hoses off??

Not sure I've ever removed a hose from the rack, but swapping in the 5.0 probably, just been so long I don't remember... The hoses are "O" ringed so are supposed to move...

You can get the pressure hose off with everything still bolted up. I think is an 11/16 wrench you need. It shouldn't be excessively tight. I don't know that you can un-bolt the return line without removing rack. And like 50 said - it's supposed to be able to wiggle around.

The line is supposed to be "loose" its sealed by an O ring, and is designed to wiggle around.
