My PB stopped working the other day and is this a common problem on these? Any idea how to repair this or do I need to replace the whole thing?

By "stopped working" do yo mean the pedal got real hard and it takes a great deal of push to get the car to stop.

Under the black plastic cover immediately below the vacuum tree. There are 2 relays ther. I think you want the one toward the front of the car

wow, i didnt know they did that. mine just f**king runs the damn abs pump over and over untill the thing kills the battery over night. oh well. check your fluid too and maybe bleed the lines if the relay thing dont work.

Ryan is correct.... the ONLY way for the pump to run with the key off is if the relay is stuck shut. Replace the relay and your problems should be solved. If you get a new relay from Ford, I believe they call it an "anti-skid relay".

Well I replaced the relay but nothing, is there a fuse or circuit breaker for this? The relay was ticking very loud before it went dead.

Few things to check:
1) There is a Tan/Yellow wire at the hydraulic relay. This circuit is hot at all times, and is feed through a fuse link. Make sure you see positive 12 volts at that wire.
2) Turn the Ignition Key ON, and check for positive 12 volts at the Grey/Yellow wire at the hydraulic relay. This circuit is feed from a fuse link as well, whenever the Ignition Key is ON
3) Pump the brake pedal several times with the ignition key off. Now check to see if the Pink/Light Blue wire at the hydraulic relay is getting a ground.
4) Check to ensure that the Grey wire at the hydraulic relay is getting a good, continuous, ground.
