The other day going to work a ford F350 4x4 got on the freeway and cut across all the lanes to the fast lane and forced me into the breakdown lane and my left front hit a pothole that later turned out to be 6" deep and 20" dia. To go straight I need to turn my wheel an 1/8 turn to the right and at speed above 50mph it shakes real bad.To top it off the 2 guys in the truck slowed down and flipped me off. Too bad the TC shook above 50mph or I would have ran them down. The good news is that I had just order a front coilover set up like JoeCool's except I didn't get the struts since I have koni reds all around and want to stay with them. Everythings gets here monday so I will have the front end shop install everything since they will have the front of the car aparts anyways and he is very good and offered to install it all for just 300. Very cheap to do that work.

I'll be real anxious to hear how this goes. I got a set of reds also and would like to go coil over. I wasn't aware that both could be done together. Tell me more??

Maximum has coil over kits for Bilsteins and Koni/KYB shocks/struts. You just order the appropriate kit. See theri website for further details (no link, sorry).

To do the rear red konis if you have the steel cover you need to send them in to them to have the cover cut off and some slight maching done to them for the coilovers. I am not doing the rears yet. Probably withing the next 6-12 months I will go that route. For now I may just go with their adjustable lower control arms. I already have a set of their none adjustable lower control arms which I would use with the coilovers.
