ported upper and lower intake????

I am getting my head back this week. I had it milled, resurfaced, and ported. I am also installing a ranger roller cam and followers. not right now, but eventually when the exhaust goes, I'll port the exhaust manifold and upgrade the exhaust. Will i benefit from the ported upper/lower intake for the time being, or is it just a waste of money?

I would wait till you can port the exhaust manifold and single 3" exhaust. I doesn't matter how much air you get into the engine if you can't get it out.
