wheels finally came in today, my tires (255-45-17) wont be here till monday but i was anxious to see how they look. i think its going to look phat, all i need are some lowering springs. the rear wheel sits perfect in the fender well IMO, they have .25" more backspacing then my stock wheels but are 1.5" wider so it takes up a little more room. but on the front its obvious i need some mustang control arms, no big deal ill have to go to a salvage yard and grab a pair of one. can someone fill me in what else is involved with the mustang A arm swap, do i need the spindles too?

why are you going 255? the wheel is only a 7.5" (not like any of the other 8.0" mustang wheels that are 17")i would go 235 front and 245 (maaaayyyybbbeee the 255 at max).

Okay im not sure about this , but are those 4 or 5 lug? It being a cobra I might be inclined to think its a 5 lug(also the 17" factor) But then its a 93 so that would lead me to believe it might be a 4 lug. Those look so good polished. I had been wanting some for my tc. I found a set in Atlanta for $800. But thats to steep. I have a set of the 94 mustang gt wheels (the double 3 spoke I caught on a deal at a ffw in commerce ga for 180$ with 2 good tires) that I had on my 93 explorer I wish I could bolt up but i have to do the 5 lug conversion. Which I cannot afford for a while! One you get some tires on your bird those WILL LOOK AWESOME!

the wheels are 8.5" wide, they are replicas made specifically for 79-93 LX and GT mustangs.

these wheels are 4 lug, 93 cobras were 4 lug cars just like the GTs and LXs, however the 93 Cobra "R" cars were 5 lug and had the tri bar 17s on them.

keep an eye out on ebay, use "mustang wheels" as a search and u will be amazed at whats on there, really nice replica wheels for short money.

thanks for the compliment :-)

i search a bunch of times, but i did not find anything that mentioned the spindles or struts, so i assume they are interchangable. but having some one tell me first hand would give me better peace of mind then figuring out something isnt going to work when i try to swap it.
