Okay to start off I picked up Chris Roth's old SVO still has everything on it except the 95lbs injectors however it still has 4-inch mass air the hy35 turbo. No my question is it supposably has a 15 pound wastegate however anytime I get into boost it goes well over 25 and thecar runs lean so I back out of it. But if you hold the throttle about halfway it runs adequate as long as it's under 20 pounds of boost. So dio the hy35's have an over boosting prob i can fix or should i try my 96lb injectors and get that moates chip tuned for them?

Just because the WG has a 15lb spring doesn't mean that the controller is set for 15psi. What kind of boost controller, manual or electronic? Internal or external wastegate?

The early HY35's can suffer from boost creep but not sure that is your case. Does it slam up to 25+ or does it come up to 15 pretty quick and then slowly start rising?

No boost controller, and it just gets to 10psi for a sec then shoots to 25+

No boost controller? I would at least put a Gillis valve on it.

What kind of wastegate, external or the Holset one? And is it using the factory Holset wastegate actuator if it is the internal gate?

Hmmm..if it is using the factory WG actuator, I believe those are set at something like 21psi.

I had boost creep on my HY35 back in the day. Enlarging the wastegate hole so the wastegate puck barely covered it helped quite a bit.
