My '88 TC clutch is being redone along with the rear main seal (and new springs!) by Phil Caron, a new, very careful mechanic here in CT. He usually works on quirky Citroens. This is the first time he worked on a Turbo Coupe. I gave him a copy of one of the NATO conversations on how a new clutch will "chirp" constantly. I insisted on Ford parts to keep that problem from occurring. He does not think the problem is from what brand of parts you use. He thinks it is from a piece of metal behind the clutch fork which acts as a spring. This piece of metal was just riveted on--not welded. Over time, the rivets fail, and it causes the noise. He riveted the piece on, and thinks this will solve the problem. He made a little video below:
