i bought one of these performance modules from www.20horsepower.com. the instructions say that i have to split into the IAT (air intake temperature sensor). my question is does anyone have a wiring diagram of this IAT.

Post your results. They didn't list our cars in the applications. I have my doubts about it.

Basically all that thing is is a 20 cent resistor (around 15k ohms or so) that is wired in series with the IAT/ACT to fool the EEC into thinking air temp is lower than it is, and therefore denser, which causes the EEC to richen up A/F a little. I did this mod on my 5.0 many years back to keep the EEC from pulling so much timing in hot weather. Cost me under a dollar in parts, and a half hour or less to install.

i saw that they did not have our applications. i emailed them and this is what they sent back. "Yes, we do carry the application for your 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe.
You will once again be prompted for vehicle information when making
payment at www.20horsepower.com
Now i am just having problems trying to find that darn IAT. Thank you pete for the diagrams, the thing is i dont know how to enlarge it to get a better look at it.
