I was wondering if there is anyway to put a new forum/list that can list part #s for our cars? It would be nice if we could post the part and part #s some place that wont dissapear. This will help new people on the site to locate tuneup and other parts. Whenever we buy something we could post the manufacturer and part #.
I dont know if this would work or not. So what do you guys think?
Thanks

Current Chassis mods: 88 TC snow flakes with 225/60/16 SZ50 firestone tires, Almost refinished interior, TRI AX shifter, Madhatter clutch quadrant. Currently hiding the under hood wiring and hoses.

Next chassis mods: boxed control arms, Subframe connectors, 3.73 8.8 rear, Larger front brakes, and poly bushings, Welded and braced torque boxes, Rear mounted battery, WC T-5, and a stage 3 star clutch, 88TC electronic struts, And 26x10x15 slicks!

Current engine mods: GN intercooler, Dawes device set at 22psi of boost, Kenne Bell cone, fully ported e-6 manifold, gutted and ported intake, ported stock valve head, Ranger cam set -2 deg, and Full 3" exhaust with 3" magnaflow, 190 pump, a Racer Walsh adjustible cam pulley, large VAM, LA3, brown tops, and a Cheesy FPR.

Next engine mods: T3/T4 with custom Exhaust elbow, 3 1/2" down pipe, A bigger cam, Water injection, EEC tuner, 52lbr injectors, converting the GN IC to water to air IC, Crower rods, ARP main and head studs, custom header, Then a 75hp nitrous shot!

Ran 14.71 at 92mph on drag radials. New times with GN intercooler, LA3, brown tops!!!! 14.9 at 96mph on my street tires.
New times with head ,e6 and ported intake, 100 race fuel, and 28psi 13.83 at 103mph!
273rwhp and 342ftlb at 24 psi with a slipping clutch!
And it still feels slow! Thus the reason for the long list of future mods!
Looking for low 12s to high 11s
Thanks
Shawn

Shawn, That's a great idea. We have kicked it around some and we need to come up with a good way to organize it. Remind us after the holidays and we will start something. On that same note, I recently purchased a booklet that lists parts numbers for the 83-88 T-birds. It's several pages and I haven't had time to look throught all of it yet. I don't even know what it originally was, maybe a parts counter book?? Looks like it has p/ns for most parts.
If I ever get the scanner working, i'll scann the files and find a way to make them available.

Cool! That would be great! I know it would help alot of people looking for those hard to find parts. I was planning on buying one of those part # books also. Can never have too many part # for your car.

This could be posted in the Tech Section next to the posting for that Item. This way you know exactly what parts work in your new upgrade or repair!
