What do I need to order from PA Performance to upgrade to 130amp? Is it just the alt and the wire kit? Do I still have to find a plug from the J/Y or do they (PA) supply that too?
I already have the 10 gauge wire and terminals as per thr tech articles.

They have the complete kit, just tell them what it's for. I'm buying the wiring kit for the 85. They said it just plugs in. It should be listed on their web site.

This is the email they sent me when I asked them about a kit for my 88TC...

"The 88 Turbo coupe was made with a 75 amp MITSUBISHI alternator - not a Ford. We don't publish an "upgrade" because we have not done it ourselves, but I know customers have. You would need the alternator, our part # 1619 and a wire kit, our part # 462802A because although your alternator plug has the 3 pin connector, the Mitsubishi circuit does not use the center pin but the Ford unit requires it. If it were my car I would start there. You may be able to find others on the web forums who have done it. Don't forget to make or buy a heavy power cable too, that stock #8 gauge will not take that much power."

So I wanted a second opinion from someone who has done it to make sure the PNs they gave me will work. I get nervous thinking about splicing wires and stuff, so I want to make sure Im at least starting with the right parts.

Just buy the alt and a stator plug from PA, get several feet of 10 ga wire, and follow the instructions in the tech article here.
