Recently I had a bad experience trying to order parts from an online Ford parts dealer and would like to know who ya'll recommend or use for Ford OE parts. Do you go to the local dealer or try the online thing? I am a little nervous about trying the online thing again but don't really want pay what the local dealer wants to charge.

I use www.fordpartsonline.com exclusively

They offer a discount over the Ford price, but it's the same stuff without the Ford counter parts guy to deal with

what was your online problem?

I detailed my story in the Vendor Issues of the board. I was a counterman at a locally owned parts store in Athens, Ohio for about 3 and a half years so I have some understanding of parts and parts departments. Talking to this man reminded me of many of those "countermen" at the discount chain stores. Not good.

I also have use fordpartsonline in the past. They been helpful with providing part numbers based on descriptions. Shipping to the Eastis a little pricey and it takes a little longer.
