Hi all,I was wandering what the wire attached to the bolt on the turbo inlet was for and does it have to be attached their? Thanks.

Yes. Its the computer ground wire for the O2 sensor.

To add what Don said, that wire is CRITICAL to the operation of the EEC. Without it properly connected, it will run pig rich, and you will get a code 41. The orange wire must be attached close to the O2 sensor.
