Orange gauge needles ...

I used to own two 86 Gt Mustangs and I always loved the orangish / red gauge lights with the red needles. I was toying with the idea of changing the 88' green dash lights to something of the same and paint the needles orange to match. What do you all think? Does anyone have the small plastic orange light filters that they would be willing to get rid of? Most LED bulbs out there are either red or amber and not the orangish color like factory, so I'm thinking that the factory filters with some white LED's would work great.

I just changed out 99% of the incandescent lamps in my 87 TC, including the dash, and those are white. I did see some LEDs on Amazon that were various colors, so maybe that’s the way to go. Still, as you point out, the OEM green existing ones would also have to be changed, or you’d likely have some muddy color.
