Testing the TPS for flats and drop outs does not always find a bad one. If it's giving you 4.6 one time and 0.96 the next, both with throttle in idle position and you probing the correct wires, then something isn't right. If you are comfortable that you did the testing correctly, then you got two choices: 1. wait and see if it gets irratic again or 2 just put in a new TPS.

Are you positive the throttle linkage is not binding or hanging up?

Hmmm I think it should be replaced to be safe, go with to the Ford dealer for it right ?

The TPS is one of those that I prefer to be a Ford part. Just my .02
