Im kinda fuzzy on the whole HLA thing but I know they need oil pressure to properly fill up and push on the rocker arms. Would having crappy oil pressure cause the valves to not fully open?

if you have low oil pressure, the HLA's are the least of your worries...

No mine is fine..its around 25 at idle and 50 after 2k rpm. I was just having a dumb thought if low pressure would start to affect to HP/Performance with the valves not opening. Knock on wood my car just leaks it lol.

If the HLAs aren't getting enough oil they will be causing a clattering noise, and no the valves will not open fully but unless you have a fine tuned butt dyno, would probably never notice the difference in power...

As already stated if oil pressure is low enough to create HLA noise, there are other SERIOUS issues...
