My oil pressure stay at 10psi during start up and when it gets warmed up it drops to 0. I don't know what it could be. I do here slight ticking coming from the valve cover. Please help I love this car.

it may be that your crankshaft bearing clearances are to big. What would happen in this situation is that when you start the car up, the oil is thick. When the car warms up, the oil gets thin, and since the clearances would be to big (the bearings worn out), the motor cant keep the pressure up. It sounds like the crank bearings are worn out. When the motor is starting up, it should run about 60 psi, and then at a warm idle, about 15-20 psi. And the ticking sound from under the valve cover is the followers taping the lifters, and the cam lobes would be taping the followers, all these noises from under the valve cover because of the low oil psi. You obviously dont hear these during when the oil psi is normal cause there is enough lubrication. Hope this helps? I'd hate to be right, this kinda stuff can be costly. :/

I would check the pressure with a second mechanical gauge to see what it actually is. If it actually is that low I would not run the engine, it could spin a bearing or worse.

I wanted to ask what oy were basing the readings on. Do what radguy suggested and put a mechanical gauge on it/

I put a Iequus oil pressure gauge on it, but I will try another gauge. About a 3 months ago, I did put another cylinder head on the car. I also got new lifters. I used the same camshaft and rocker arms though. Do you thing any of those could be the problem. The car worked fine before I put a new cylinder head on.

What kind of shape were the camshaft bearings in, on the new head? Worn cam bearings can flow a lot of oil

I going to look at the bearings and camshaft tomorrow cause I think I need a new cam anyways.
