It might help to get it up on a lift and start looking. Like Chris said there are lots of possibilities. Sounds like you have a significant leak so don't ignore fixing it and very regularly
check the oil level.

Make sure it isnt comming from the oil level sensor, I just took mne out and put some teflon on it and boom no more oild leak. But like 84TBirdTurbo42 said it can leak from many diffrent places.....

Could be from the middle of the sensor and teflon will not stop it. They are notorious for leaking from the center around the sensor when they age. The sensor is still available from Ford. Try cleaning any oil off the engine then running it and rechecking for the culprit.

The worst intermittent leak I had was the seal around the oil cooler. It would leak little more than a couple drips one day, or let out a steady stream other days. 23 years (that's how old it was at the time) is a long time for a rubber ring that gets heated and cooled, and holds out oil...

Good idea... the oil level sensors are well known for both leake from the sensor itself and leaks from the gasket.

well the leak seems to be because the crankcase was clogged causing pressure that blew out the rear main seal and pretty much all the other seals and gaskets on the engine......
