oil everywhere

I was on my way home this morning and I had a seal or something go on the car. I went over some railroad tracks and then all of a sudden I see a bunch of smoke. I pulled over to the side of the road and and opened the hoad and there was oil everywhere. It looks like it is something in the front of the motor by the looks of how the oil splattered. What I noticed to was that my cam shaft bolt is gone. Has anyone ever had anything like this happen to them? I will probably have time later tonight or tomorrow morning to clean the oil off and try to see where it might have come from. Any help or ideas of what to check would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

Here is your problem. Oil flows through the cam, and out the bolt hole if you don't have one. Put some RTV on the new bolt when you get it. Any JY 2.3 will have one cheap.

Thank you for the quick reply. I am going to go over tomorrow and clean off the motor and chech everything out to make sure nothing else was damaged or out of place. Then I will put some more oil in and see what happens. Thanks again.

If you can't find a bolt I got spares.
