Oil cooler

One more question, it looks like there is a small oil leak from the oil cooler. I guess I will try tightening it but I heard it is discontinued?

Can I get a gasket or seal and use the old cooler with new seals?

Does the cooler just twist off like the oil filter does?

Fixing all the leaks has been a real battle. So far I have done rear main, crank seal, cam and aux seals, and VC gasket, along with a new sender. I went from about 30 small puddles to around 2! lol

E3ZZ-6L621A still available from Ford as of late 2001. around $12.00. This is the seal that goes between the oil cooler and the block. The person that provided me with the info said to try Mesa Ford in San Diego, CA or Gary Franks at [email protected]

Remove the oil filter. On the pipe that the filter screws onto is a hex head (bolt). Unscrew that, it hold the cooler in place. Theseal is on the back (engine)side.
