O2 Sensor Thread Pitch

Pete, I didn't know where to post this so i'll let you. The other day I asked what size and pitch the thread in the O2 sensor was,only reply I got was to replace the elbow seeing that i'm from the generation when you fixed what you had or made a new one I didn't do that.I thought I would let you all know that it's an 18mm 1.5 pitch an 18mm spark plug thread chaser worked nicely for doing it after removing IC,also an 18mm 1.5 Helicoil would have worked.Just thought I would let someone know in case they don't want to just repl. parts.Hope This Helps oldturboman P.S. That's good info. I looked in a couple of my books and couldn't find a spec on it when you posted. I'm not sure where to put this either but I'll leave a copy here and also put it in the Technical Questions forum.
