At the top of this page there's a list of links, one is the FAQ, Click on it, then scroll to the Brakes/Suspension part, the very first item listed is Bleeding Brakes. Try that and see if that helps.

Guys I need some major help like always. So I replaced the brake system on my car with one from an 88 TC. Now at one point in time I had the brakes bleed and everything said and done with until I realized that I was leaking fluid from one of the brake lines which was bolted in crooked. I took the old part off and put it on the new master cylinder. (The part that the brakes lines bolt onto) I made sure the O rings were in place and that there was no debris in the bolt holes. Hooked everything up and now I can’t get the rear brakes to bleed off. And the original problem persists. Stiff pedal with ABS and brake light on. Now in NATO they have a faq page about the Theves II brake systems. (Not one of fords best ideas in my book.) Well I have made sure everything is plugged in and all the ins and outs. Now what am I missing? What simple thing have I missed this time?

Are you sure you didn't transfer the problem part from the old MS to your new one? Xthreads are bad never good news.
Also, have you rechecked your fluid level? Bleeding brakes can rapidly deplete the fluid. Have you checked for any leaks? This is stuff I've done myself (bled brakes empty... ooops!).

Sorry I forgot to update you all. Let’s just say these brakes suck!! After removing and replacing parts interbreeding 2 different master cylinder got them to work. My last problem consisted of the front brakes bleeding and the rears not. I figured it was something with the motor or accumulator so I took it all apart again and when I switched out motors I forgot a small gasket after that the brakes worked fine.
