Ok guys yesterday i went outside and started my girl up. No problem. I drove her up the street and back since she hadn't been driven in a few days. All was fine and dandy. This morning i was going to run some errands and wanted to drive the T-Bird. So i went outside and went to crank her and there was no power. None. Zip. Nada. With the key in the on position nothing happens. Almost like a complete dead battery. Although the battery is brand new, i plugged up a battery charger. When u plugged it up, it doesnt even charge it. The power is light is on,on the charger though. My first thought was fusible links? Sorry im pretty new to pushrod stuff. I've been working on rotaries most of mechanical life. They are different than these by a long run. Anyways i read somewhere that the fusible links are by the power steering resivoir. I looked and saw a few wires but not sure if thats them or not. There was something unplugged though. It says eec on the connector and sits on the driver side strut tower. Any ideas guys. Point me in a few good directions. Thanks in advance.

Also there is no radio in the vehicle and there is a red wire that looks to have been cut. Last time i went to wire the radio i got the clock working. Whoever did it i think hacked the wires up. Most of the interior lights work and i even bought some fuses to replace them yesterday but found no blown fuses.

So i feel like a complete moron. The battery was completely dead. I guess i left the interior lights on last night. Charger didnt say anything though. Hmmmm. Did get some fuses replaced and the new radio wired in. Antenna works but needs a new motor.

The plug that was loose was your EEC test plug for running codes. It's always best to try to leave the stock wiring in place for the radio and get the connectors to fit. Many problems are caused by tapping into existing wiring when not knowing what that wire goes to.

Thats cool. I didnt know thats what the plug was for. Also i did buy the adapter kit. None of the wires to the radio were cut. They are still Original. Sorry for the misunderstanding Smile
