Hold up guys! Give us the break down to how this is done. Is there a chip burned? Is there some kind of management system setup? Please expand on this.

SVOjohn from tf.com is the one that made the code.

^Indeed. I(almost) wish I had waited to do my MAF conversion and done this instead. I've driven one of Johns speed density conversions. VERY cool. The parts are cheap, much cheaper than my MAF anyway. All you need is Johns' code, a GM IAT, a GM 3 bar MAP and a way to tune the EEC(wideband required). Throttle response is crisp and (surprise!) as with my MAF conversion, the 2.3 idle hiccup is gone. This further reinforces my thoery that the hiccup is related to the inaccurate metering of air caused by the the VAM and miscellaneous vacuum leaks common to our engines. There are a couple of minor drawbacks. Speed density requires retuning anytime you change something, MAF doesn't. With the increased airflow from taking off that restrictive POS VAM, you'll likely outgrow your stock injectors with a stock cam and 18-20 psi. Mine ran lean WOT at 4200 rpm. ****, I hate it when that happens. 75-85# injectors and a Walbro 255lph pump are essential. Other than that,no worries, have fun.
I want to live in a world where monkeys don't dig up the dead and parade about in their shoes.
88 7F, SS big valve head, port matched in/ex, gutted and powdercoated intake, A-237, stealth T3/T4 Garrett hybrid, Abaco 85mm mass-air meter conversion, tripminder, Walbro 255 high pressure, SVOJohn tuned.

Yes this is svojohn's work. I bought a 3bar Gm map sensor on ebay 50.00 Shipped,GM IAT sensor 17.00 Pigtail 6.00,moates f3 chip, and 75lb injectors. This thing runs good, with no problems. But I know as we go further into tuning im going to need a clutch.
