Hi All, I've been watching this site for a while and it is the best 2.3 site out there! Thanks for your help thus far...
I have an 88 and it has been not starting sparatically. It has been just doing this for the last week or so... I am going to replace the plugs, wires, and cap tonight, but I was wondering if you guys have any other suggestions? It turns over, but won't start. I can go out 4-8 hours later, and it will start right up. Any ideas?

Welcome aboard. If it's not starting when it warm/hot, that could be the TFI or the PIP. Pull the codes.

I have this EXACT same problem. However when it won't start, I know the fuel pump isn't running. I'm not too sure why, but it won't run when I ground the EEC plug. I checked my pressure, and it was low, so I installed a new fuel pump today, however, i lost one of the clips that hold the feed line in, and so it just pops off when I start the pump. I hoep I can get clips somewhere. Once i Do, i'll let you know if it helped or not.
Also, I pulled the codes and got an all clear..no codes at all..

I've seen those clips in the HELP! section of the local parts stores. Should be easy to find.
