I shall call it 'Vader'. 1988 T-Bird 121k miles, 5 spd. Taken care of by a father and his son since 99, 2 owner car(I think), full synthetic fluids since 60k miles, leather is just about perfect. Full options besides sun roof, everything works, car is about as mint as you can get for 1988. Dealer undercoating and it was down south for awhile and never driven in the snow. Funny, I wanted one, looked for a day, and bought one the next day. I think the guy I bought it from is a member on this board as well. Here's some pics, they were the ones he showed me, blizzards aren't great for photos shoots.

Can't wait for it to warm up to drive it.

Congrats and welcome, car looks good and clean. Lucky you for finding that in two days, took me a lot lot longer than two days. Good luck with her.

Thanks!

I can't believe it either. In the past I have gotten screwed with every turbo car I have ever bought. This thing seems solid as a rock though. It has a slippin clutch, but that can be fixed really easy.

Sweet car .. Nice find! My TC's happened like that. I decided I wanted a car, looked in paper, saw one test drove it and bought it the next day. That TC met deer, wanted another one and looked in same paper, found another one and bought that one the next day. Smile

Thanks for the kinda words. I am very happy the guy before me kept meticulous care of it. Glad it didn't go to somebody who wouldn't take care of it.

I do have a quick question. Will upper and lower control arms from an 87-93 mustang fit these cars? I'm a foxbody mustang guy and would love to be able to swap some things over, or find cheap parts.

By the way, most of those miles are highway miles--hey, it looks better now than when we had it!
