New poster and glad to be here. I took delivery of my 1984 turbo coupe the weekend of Thanksgiving. My brothers best friend had a car for sale and I had to have it. It was quite an adventure bringing it 600 miles home after it had been setting for 6 months but it made the trip fine. It needs paint exhaust work and some much needed love. Interior is nice and it has four wheel disks with five lugs and mach1 wheels. I also converted it to the 3G alternator so it could make the trip back to Texas. Glad to be here. Looking forward to the help from the smart people on this forum.

Welcome to the board. It's rare to find an '84, and even more rare to find one that is decent! Good catch on that one.

It's in the garage for now so I can't get decent lighting for pictures. I did some work on the console today it was missing the ash tray door so I picked up one and installed it. Had to custom cut some springs to open and close it. Did some cleaning as well to it as the console in any car picks up all kinds of dirt. I checked the rear axle tag today as it has rear disk with 5 bolt wheels. It turns out to have a 1988 8.8 with 3.27 open diff. I have an older pic of the car before it has the mach1 wheels installed. I never considered that the older birds would be rare as they made many of them. Almost none can be found now.

Looks good. Like Brian said, it's rare to see an 83-84 TC. There just aren't that many left.
