Hey all well I'll get right into it!

So I have had a thing for the 88 turbo coupe for a while, I recently finished college and finally got one and became broke in the process lol but had to have one .

I got mine for 1800 and I am brand new to cars, and with the help of a friend who works at a dealership he said, after looking at it and driving it, that my rear brakes don't get fluid, there is a detonation problem with the engine, windows have issues... the list goes on guys...but I still love my car!!

Anyway I want to learn about my car, I want to bring it back to its original glory, maybe more? I will be on the forum trying to ask questions and get advice.

I tried posting a pic of my bird but I can't though, anyone know why?

Welcome!

How were you trying to post a photo? Through the file manager?

When you're in the Full Reply Screen, you can click the "File Manager" link under the text entry box and upload them that way, but there's a file size limit.

I typically upload mine to imgur and copy the link to here, surrounded by image tags.

For example:

^^^^^^This code will bring up the following image.

It looks weird cause the file size is only 1.43 (why not more?) any way there it is

hahah tell me about it! I found one at the junk yard so that's patched up. Next in line is my brakes where they seem to not work in the rear. There is a lot more to do so I will hopefully post pics

The size limit is necessary because every image that is uploaded is stored on the server forever and we don't have unlimited storage capacity. I find the best thing to do is download a tiny windows add-on called the Windows Image Resizer. With this, you can simply right click any image on your computer and make a copy of a smaller size.
