Greetings,

I wanted to say hello and thanks for all the great information on this board. I've been able to get in and fix a bunch of small problems like an expert with your help.

I bid on the 70,000 mile 1986 Turbo Coupe on eBay, never expecting to win. Nobody else bid on it, so I won the auction. Maybe it had something to do with the large amount of back registration fees that were owed. Anyway, I had it shipped from Los Angeles to Jackson Mississippi. This week I sent a check off to the California DMV to pay off the six years of back registration and hopefully will get the title soon.

It's complete and great overall condition with the typical hood, roof, and trunk paint problems. There are a few minor dings and creases here and there. The interior is super clean and complete with a couple of minor leather condition issues. Mechanically, doesn't seem to need anything more than a new muffler and the brakes are kind of weak. I haven't really been able to drive it except around my neighborhood till I get the title, license plate and muffler squared away. All that should come together in the next couple of weeks.

At this point the only part I really need is the shifter bezel. The one on the car doesn't fit right. I imagine it came from an '87 or '88 TC and isn't an exact fit. The color is Raven if anybody has one I'm certainly interested.

I've included the eBay auction photo. I'll take some better ones once I get it on the street. http://natomessageboard.com/uploads/00019016/image.jpg

Welcome. That's pretty low mileage for an '86, nice looking TC.
