Thats what I replaced my stock shocks with. The fronts are a direct replacement...You need to reuse the tops of your old prc's.

The rear shocks will work with a set of Chucks adapters.

Okay well before I do this, my car sits lopsided driver side is a bit lower than passenger side..

I thought the springs may have been just softer on the drivers side so replaced those and it was the same business, so now I think the struts just have some gas leaked out of them from always having more weight on the drivers side.

Anyone agree? I'd hate to get rid of such a nice feature if it's not the case.

And on that note; You can't re-fill the struts can you..? I know they are sealed but are there companies that can re-gas shocks and re-seal?

Just looked up the struts at this site

I noticed the fronts say "V8 Applications Only", does this not apply to our T-Birds?

So I re-use the tops of the fronts, and get Chucks adapters for the rears? Where can I get these adapters

If anyone knows them at a cheaper price elsewhere don't be shy to speak up

Thanks

Jeff

I certainly wouldn't reuse the strut mounts... get a set at Napa for a v6 or v8 t-bird. Search on strut mount for more info...

My bird sits low on driver's side as well. New PRC's and about 42k on the car as a whole.

how are the strange struts and shocks as far as handling curves i see they have the coil over kits for the fronts and look a little less expensive than billstiens or konis

Shannon, you say direct fit. I take it that the spacing between the front strut mounting ears is right for the 87-88 TC spindle? No need for spacers on the spindle mounts?

A better way to put my question is: Are the 87-88 spindle strut ears the same thickness as the 87-93 Mustang???

Yes, they are the same thing (I have them on my 86 TC). I recommend Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber plates with any of the 94-04 mustang struts for the front. If you lower your car, you can use the 79-93 struts due to travel length, but still recommend the 94-04 ones.

...so you have a V8...isn't that cute...
