New Struts and Shocks

I got lucky and scored a new set of Motorcraft PRC struts and shocks from good old wrenchhead (about 6 months ago). I just recently installed 'em and have noticed something odd in the rear (fronts are great). When I "bounce" the car (88TC) in the back when in "normal" mode, it will continue to bounce 3 or 4 times before it stops. Just seems to not have much in the way of dampening going on. I did not notice this with the old, worn set. BTW, in the "Firm" mode, they are very "hard". Do any of you other guys have similar conditions? Did I miss doing something on the install?

Coil springs are worn out. Can't offer much help on aftermarket replacement since I'm running Eibach which no longer produces these for the TC's. Other on the board are using few different brands that could better answer what brands/part numbers.
