I seem to remember it was an Audiovox brand, and was around $25. Has a CdS light sensor that mounts at the bottom of the windshield. Darkness level to turn on lights is adjustable. It also has an adjustable headlight delay that leaves the lights on after the key is turned off for an adjustable time of 30, 60 or 90 seconds.  Works great. It also has the option to automatically turn on lights when windshield wipers are turned on which is great as it is the law here that lights must be on if it is raining.  Also put in an Ebay auto dimming rear view mirror at that time.

My TC included the AutoLamp and AutoDim controls as an option, so like Jeff I rarely use the light switch any more, mostly just to check the gauges if I’m starting it because I haven’t driven it in a few days, and then only the parking lights.

I have said this many times—I can’t stress enough the importance of switching over to relays for the lighting system; also, LEDs are soooo much brighter, are cooler and use less power.

I have a full LED installation, except for a couple of lamps (inside the clock and the EATC) that aren’t readily accessible.

And, years ago I too was lucky to find an auto-dimming rear view mirror. Works great!
