I knew there could only be one fast Ed...at least from this neck of the woods!
The car went on the back burner for the last 8 years! Before it was parked I had the body and paint done (custom 5 stage base + 3 clear) had a new set of Roh rims and tires put on the car, 3" mandrel exhaust with flowmasters....the car was running strong @ 22 psi then started passing oil through the turbo so it got parked. I have since had 2 ram trucks, one was the R/T then a 2012 mustang that I sold this summer to get back into a new truck for work reasons. Then the decision wad made to get the bird back on the road...for extra motivation I have purchased tickets to Carlisle + hotel! New turbo is in along with a new rad and various other wear items for good measure. I'm currently doing some brake work. The car will also need a dif service and rear axle seals (leaking from sitting)...then I should be in good shape for the spring!
It would be cool to get these birds together at some point! They are getting rare...especially up here!

Cheers,
Garnet

I'm heading to Carlisle this year again after missing it for about 5 years. We used to have some great convoys heading down with the local Super Coupe club guys, Garnet joined us one year with his TC.

Yes, the plan is to bring the TC. Hopefully can get enough driving in it this spring to be confident to make the journey, but it should be fine. It's had lots of the mechanical stuff replaced in the last 5-6 years. I was just going to be another wanker there in a late-model Mustang until I made the deal on this car. LOL

Better choice, I say!!!
'88 TC-Black T-5 with 79K stock 98.5% original, just w-i-d-e rims and tires, and some under hood powder-coating
'88 TC-Blue w/98K. Stocker w/t-5 ( the resurrection car) top gas mileage =31 mpg!
'88 TC-Grey w/99k. Auto, well optioned, 2nd owner car - getting more options
'87 TC-Blue w/123k t-5 parts car - less of a car now
'88 TC gray- body only so far- very very late factory build dated car, awaiting resurrection
'87 GN w/16.8K
"96 Bronco XLT w/351 (5.8l)
