Hello all,
Actually,  I have been a member for many,  many years (my username was " Motorcity"),  and I have been trying unsucessfully to get my password reset.   I have sent multiple emails to the "contact us" portion of this websit,  and no one has gotten back with me.    I have tried to have my password reset,  when I put in my "current" email adress,  the system "states" that it is an invalid email account....I think this is because it is not the original email I had when I originally registered.    So,  I think the administrator should change this field,  in case someone lost their password,  and has changed their email adress.  So,  anyway,   I had to "re-register" to get back on this board here.

Background:   I have a 1987 Black on Black Thunderbird Turbo Coupe.  Always loved these cars,  but had to wait 20 years to buy one.  I bought mine in 2007.   I am a mechanical engineer by trade, work at Ford Motor Company,  did engine calibration on gas and diesel powertrains for 15 years.

Pete D may should remember me,  I was in contact with him several years back,  as I lived close to and have been in contact with Tom Reider,  who worked at Ford and was one of the first people to hot up the 2.3L Ford in the turbo coupe...Pete wanted to do an article with Tom.   Toms turbo coupe was incredibly fast,  and put many cars to shame.

Anyways,  I'm back and wanted to say "hi"....and greetings,  from Detroit Michigan.

Lastly,  my turbocoupe was backed into late last year by a big dummy in a GM truck at one of the last car shows for the year in 2021....my drivers side taillight lens is cracked....does anyone here have a spare one they would be willing to sell... I was very, very bummed out when this happened,  but thankfully he didnt take out my trunk lid or rear quarter panel.

Welcome back!

I worked in the Mustang, Thunderbird - Cougar Powertrain group at Ford development from '88 to '98 and loved it. Best job ever.  I was a warranty analyst and enjoyed being around all of the cars!  As far as the tail light goes, I just sold both my extras.   Best of luck!
