Finally got around to getting some shots of the 87 I bought back in September. Anyone recognize it? the previous owner was a member on here.

was told the car has a237 cam, a boport head with larger valves and a t3/t4 50 trim turbo. also has a larger fmic and a greddy boost controller. currently running stock computer and injectors.

The only thing i have done to the car since i purchased it was get it running right, get it to pass inspection and put the welds on it.

future plan is to swap in the stock 2.3l out of my merkur and continue to use this as a daily driver then swap the worked motor into my xr4ti along with a hx35 pimp and 80lb injectors.
I may put the holset and 80s on this car for a short time but just to see what it will run. Id rather keep this closer to a dd because its a lot easier to fit my 2 kids in than the xr4ti

the truck in the background is my friends lowered 6 speed 7.3l powerstroke. another awesome turbo ford

yes its estoral blue and it looks good from 20 feet away haha. I didnt like the color so much when i bought it but its grown on me. I actually had it parked next to a world rally blue wrx and i think it would look great in wrb. That will be its next color if I ever paint it.

Welcome, and personally, I like the color! You should leave the mod-ed lima in the TC, and hop up the Merkur separately. Sounds like a good set up and it's so easy to leave it in there.
'88 TC-Black T-5 with 79K stock 98.5% original, just w-i-d-e rims and tires, and some under hood powder-coating
'88 TC-Blue w/98K. Stocker w/t-5 ( the resurrection car) top gas mileage =31 mpg!
'88 TC-Grey w/99k. Auto, well optioned, 2nd owner car - getting more options
'87 TC-Blue w/123k t-5 parts car - less of a car now
'88 TC gray- body only so far- very very late factory build dated car, awaiting resurrection
