Has anyone tried the new Autometer Electric fuel pressure gauges?
They cost a few bucks but it would nice to put the Pressure gauge where ever I wanted.

I have had one for about 6 months. Very high quality unit, probably worth the $$ I paid for it. Sensor looks to be nearly aerospace quality, and the guage itself is much more than a simple meter movement - it is a microprocessor controlled stepper motor drive that actually runs the gauge.

The sensor fitting is 1/8" NPT, so you will need to get a 1/8" NPT female to 1/16" NPT male adaptor the attach the sender to the fuel rail.

Just go to either the Jegs or Summit Racing web sites, and look up gauges. There are pics there. Looks just like any other Autometer 2 1/16" gauge. I mounted mine of the piller along with the Autometer 30 psi boost gauge. That way I can easily keep track of fuel pressure increase versus boost.

Where exactly did you put the sending unit?
On the schrader valve, port on an ajustable FPR or other?

Thanks for the input.

You remove the schraeder valve, which has a 1/16" NPT thread on the end that screws into the fuel rail.
