Well i have lost count of how many birds I have owned, but this one is the best so far. I was looking at upgrading the 88 tc I have, but by the time I would have fixed the body, and added all of the stuff this one has it would have been at least $2500 and thats if I got deals. So while searching through turboford I found one for sale in VA. He was asking $2000, then a few weeks later he offered it for $1500. I was happy to finaly pic it up for $1200, long drive from OH to VA (about 8 hrs. each way) but well worth it. This bird is quick, I'm not sure what the times are yet but I hope to get to the track soon, then will come a few more mods. The current specs are as follows:

1988 TBird TC
- T5 tranny
- sunroof, keyless, leather, dual power seats, all the goodies
- new 3.55 motorsport gear
- centerforce df clutch with weight fingers
- t3/t4 turbo .48 exhaust and .50 compressor side (28 psi) [Image: biggrin.gif]
- Complete New rebuilt center section in back seat. for future use.
- msd tfi coil
- 255 pump
- all tune up parts are new and head gasket is new
- gutted upper (Stock on car, gutted never installed because he never got the ported lower to go with it, currently in trunk. Guess what I'm looking for)
- RR Cam
- Rare but no rust on the bottoms of the doors, I love sothern cars. This car has one little dent in the front pass fender but it is barely visable. And there is hardly any rust, only a couple of spots with surface rust which will be gone soon.

Future mods:
- BOV or BPV
- gillis (currnetly has fish tank style setting between seat and console)
- exhaust - 3" down and out splitting to dual 2.5" out the back
- FMIC

and I am sure more will come to mind.

That sound like the deal of the year. You'll need to post some pics. I'm sure the 8 Hr ride home went by fast. Big Grin

Yep that's what he said almost word for word. Thanks for the assist Glenn, hopefully if all goes well I will be bringing this one to carlisle this year.

She is quick and at full throtle shifting into second she will smoke the tires and do a little sidways dance. NICE! [Image: biggrin.gif] I'm hoping to have a gillis on it soon so the boost will be more consistant and less lag.

Here are a couple pics I received via email prior to buying the car. I have yet to take any of my own but this will give you the idea.

By the way the Gillis 2 stage boost valve setup is on its way.
