this my POS naturally aspirated 2.3l non-turbo turbo coupe

i dunno if i like this or not, two differnt looks,

i also covered the red strip with black tape and took off the pin strips. i will be powder coatign the inside door handles vblack, and the keyless entry pad black, and eventaiully removing al emblems except the side "turbo coupe" amd nose embelm.

and in far future ditch the n/a 2.3l for a EFI 5.0 SO, not HO, with a AOD or aod-e if i can get it al to work correctly. ( i liek torqu converter lock up)

Obviously you'll do what you want but if you want opinions i think if you are goin to make paint scheme changes i would paint as much as possible grey to match your paint. Like the black molding around the car and mirrors outside door handles...... I personally think it gives the car a clean sleek look, i think thats one of the reasons i think black turbo coupes look the best (just my opinion nothing against the other colors they look good too) because the trim most other things are black except the red stripe. I think "grey it out" and maybe a black stripe where the red one is, and paint the "Turbo Coupe" plastic emblems in the molding Black so only the letters really stick out. Oh, and if your gonna paint the wheels also paint the centers to match. ????????

Well I have to be honest, I don't like it. However if you smoked the windows with a nice dark tint I might change my mind. One should never desecrate a Turbo Coupe by removing the turbo. You need to install a Turbo.

Well its defintiyl stealthy, i aitnd the center caps to make, it looks ok, with the center caps silver it looked police interceptor-ish.

keith: mayeb im misunderstoof what you said.
but i duno if you knwo about my story. but all 4 TC's i have owned i bought ready to be scrapped. my first one was sittign in camden new jersey and abou to be impunded for abandoment. my dark blue one was bought out of a storage yard where it sat for 4 years untoched with a blown motor. my red 83 was purchased as the guy was gettign reeady to sell it to a scrap yard (even tho i scrappe dit, it was not restoable, frame rusted and many peices missing) and my fourth this gray oen was sittign in a guy yard for a year before i purchased and got it running and drivable. but i may have misunderstood what you said, but it kinda hurt how i interperted it. i decided to put a efi 5.0l in it so it wouydl stay as one car. yes it clean but it been tampered with , the wiring is a mess etc etc, i am tryign to build the ultamite Tbird to my liking, but i will also own my dark blue TC "Turbo". sorry it just got to me. any oen who has met me knwos how i am. i turned down a 97 mark VIII for this car, it owudl have been a even up trade, i liekd my problem matic car. sorry agian if im misunderstood, i get confused easily
and i cant type for crap.

If this gets out of hand, delete this topic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn! Another reason NOT to paint my car gunmetal.

Not 'cause I don't like the color, but because it looks So good, there's already too many with it.

Nice choice bro', it looks killer.

Personally i think that the TC looks its best in this grey and that bright red (the mach 1 versions). I also like black, but i think the other two are my favorites. By the way, is that grey color called charcoal grey or 'gunmetal'?
