1. The heat/ac does not come out of the vents, only floor and defrost. When the heats on,theres a steady blow of cold air coming from the floor. compartment passenger side.
2. Theres a mouse living in the inside, making me very mad, since the interior is almost perfect. He jumped out at me while i was driving. Any one know how to kick this freeloader out ?
3. Valve cover gasket is shot but thats an easy job
id like to post a few pics of the car, need to figure out how .

If you can find his dead, rotten carcass, you can put him to sleep with dry ice in a bucket of water.....

Welcome
1. Manual or EATC system? Sounds like the blend door may not be operating as well as the flow control doors. The blend doors are vacuum operated on the manual system and electrically operated on the EATC system
2. Mousetrap loaded with peanut butter
Get either the Ranger replacement (expensive, but better)
or the Felpro (cheaper but I've had good luck reusing multiple time)

My brother found a way to kill chipmunks that were invading his garage that would probably work with a mouse also. Fill a bucket about 3/4 full of water and pour sunflower seeds on top. The seeds will float, the mouse jumps in, can't get out, can't tread water forever. The peanut butter mousetrap is also a good idea!

It's a manual system. It's strange. I'm getting heat on the drivers side and from defrost. But cold on the floor
I have the sticker trap in there now, I'll add peanut butter to it
And ford ranger gasket. As in the pickup truck,?

This is the motorcraft gasket that Pete is referencing:

It's the bee's knees! Yes... I said the bee's knees. Expensive for a valve cover gasket? Yes... but it'll last darn near forever and through countless R&R's.
