Congratulations to Steve for his new times. I'm sure he will be even faster once he gets more tuning and the header on.

The weather is getting cooler so now is the time to run at the track. I hope to hit the track soon also.

Thanks, Glenn [Image: smile.gif]. I'll be sure to savor this position for the next few weeks until you get to the track and proceed to blow my doors off.

P.S. - The header is on and I've noticed quite a boost in top-end power. Low and midrange feel exactly as before, though. I do need to track down the cause of some horrible air-spitting type of noise I'm now getting under WOT and >15psi, but after that I should be ready to head to the track myself and see what she'll do.

Let us know how you do, Travis!

And yeah...it is a bit tricky to launch with the stage III, but I think most of my problem comes from having to keep the clutch slipping above 3000rpm to even get the turbo spooled at all. You should have it at least a bit easier with the t3. How many miles do you have on the clutch?

Howdy....

The clutch has 650miles on it. I was testing the car the other night....(beating the hell out of it) THe more I ragged on the clutch the better it grabbed...

I'm trying to beat my 14.0 with 21-23psi on 94 octane with lots of denatured alky....
I've got the fuel pressure at 44 with the vaccuum line off.

He is selling it but the person who buys it might fix it and actually run it. That car will be number hands down. Well, Scott might have something for him.

We'll see once I actually get it back together. It appears the head was very poorly set up by the machine shop that did it. I basically need new guides, springs and retainers because of it. Hopefully it was hurting performance as much as it hurt those parts.

At what rpm do you get full boost in first gear? You make it sound like it spools very slowly.

Nah, this run was at Englishtown two wednesdays ago.

From a 5mph roll, I'll reach 15-20 psi by about 4000-4500rpm. After that point, I'm already commanding my arm and legs to shift before it begins bouncing off the rev limiter.

Did you ever check to make sure your wastegate is sealing properly. Maybe it is leaking slightly. I thought it would spool quicker than that. I know mine(when I first put it on) spooled slower and the wasegate actually slightly opened to allow boost to leak past. I tightened the adj. actuator and it made a big difference. Just a thought.
