my 87 with the stock 2g alt makes the speedo bounces when at idle and turnsignal on, and the ATC display flashes a bit.
my 88 tc with 130amp 3g did the same with the stock alt, after installing the 130 amp 3g and correct pulley it never skips a beat.

FYI all ford will not charge at idle as much as they do above 1200rpm... i guessing its the speed the have the alt spinning at...i put on a diff pulley and i keep decent voltage at idle on the 3g now.

like tr_guy said.....it does it and obviously wont hurt anything. but if it starts getting worse then get it checked out

Mine does it too. I turned on all accessories and the high beams and checked my voltage. It never went below 13.50V. I do find it interesting that when I turn on the signals the voltage fluctuates .04V with each flash. Without going into a long explanation on how a machanical flasher operates, I'm pretty sure it has to do with how the flasher functions and the field it generates. It is right below the cluster after all. I would make sense that the pulse would be seen by the speedo.
