Hey guys i'm thinkin about instead of re-painting the entire car just going two tone from the body line up. The original paint it that twlight metallic blue and i wanna do satin black from the body line up. What do yall think

Sounds pretty cool to me.
Stinger dual3"exhaust from dp & cat to magnaflows w/2.5 outlets w/tailpipes.Homemade CAI w/boost at18psi.MM c/c plates and tubular lca/front coilovers with Koni red adjustables all around. Ported/BV head/A237 and bobslog w/a stinger fmic set-up waiting to go on.86 stang gt w/motor and T-5 from a 86 TC w/3"SS dualexhaust w/cc plates and lowered 1.5".With volvo ic installed.

I got the whole thing in a semiflat kinda satin black, and blacked out wheels with a chrome lip. Will post pix asap. It came out pretty slick. The girls at work call it the batmobile. One of my military buddies called it the bomber. Nothin but complements.
I think if you're excited about how it'll look, then run with it and forget the peanut gallery. But personally, if you're going to leave the lower half clearcoat/gloss, then I'd have to lean toward a glossy clear on top as well.

I think there are a few TC's in the Showroom painted similar to that. Lots of good ideas there.
