Need To Know Weight of 86TC

I am trying to get an idea of how much the 84-86TC's weight. I am thinking about looking for an 84-86 TC or just a regualr bird and swapping in a 2.3. Does anyone think it could be gotten down to 2900-3000lbs?

the idea of an 86bird with a big fat IC sitting in the front grill kinda turns me on [Image: smile.gif]

I had an 84 TC parts car for a while with no title and that thing was a blast to rally around my friends property out in the country. I really like the 83-96 style birds for some reason [Image: smile.gif]

If im not mistaken 3100# With out a doubt you can get it down.

Cool....I wonder how much weight would be gained by swapping in an 8.8 rear and converting to a TC ABS setup

he he, if you start putting that stuff all on you might as well just swap 86 grill and hood onto an 88.

Why would you want the ABS?? Keep the 7.5 in it til it breaks, then swap in an 8.8 if you break the 7.5.

Holy cow,a T/C under 3 grand?????????If only it were true.......2800 would even be considered good for a race weight Mustang.
