need help gluing 87-88 taillight

the taillights on my 88 Bird are starting to separate and leaves and dirt are starting to get inside

anyone have a guide or know the best glue to use to put them back together?

You need to take them apart and clean out all of the old weatherstripping and replace with same or I used black Permatex RTV. It takes about two tubes to seal it. Works great though.

How do you take the lenses off without cracking them.

Using a little heat may help to soften up the old sealant. If they are loose or moving at all, start at that place and just use a little steady pressure, not to harsh, to pry them loose. A heat gun, or even a hair dryer should help.

I seem to remember there are a couple black metal clips (2 on the top, 2 on the bottom?) that you need to pop off. I dont remember the details as I havent restored a TC tail light is almost 20 years.
