I have done a few searches and can not find what I need.... I am going to get a 3inch DP and a high flow 3in Cat soon. I have not been to any exhaust shops yet "I have been real busy" but I wanted to know what I am gonna need to get at least 2.5 mandrel bent pipe out of the back of the car. Also which side is best to have it exit on? I am not going to get a muffler right away but I am going to run a cat so I do not get into to much trouble. I need some advice bad

You can use a mandrel bent 2.5" tailpipe for a fox Mustang, and just have the tip extended a little. If they do it right, you won't even beable to see the part where they add on the pipe,it will be behind the quarterpanel overhang. As for between the the DP and the muffler or tail,I just had mine bent at the shop on a regular bender, the bends are just a couple of slight bend that don't make that big of a difference,I think. You will also see that when you get the DP on,that the exhaust will exit on the driver's side,it crosses over under the seats.Keep us posted.

Yah, just use the Dynomax mandrel bent TP for the left side.
If you don't run a muffler run the 3" pipe after the cat up to the TP.
You could run a cheapy 3" glasspack for a while, then get a good SS Ultraflow later.

Or if you don't mind a little noise, not much at all, dont use a muffler. The cat will quite it down a lot.

Does Dynomax have a 3" catback for the 87-93 mustang? the PDF on their site says they only have one for a 99-01. they have 2.5" systems but no 3". Also, what setup would fit an 85 TC? The 86 GT or the 87-93 GT?
On a related topic... Does anyone know the quality of the MAC flowpath muffler in performance, sound and/or build? I was looking at getting their system but I would probably prefer the Dynomax setup if they have the 3" system that fits.

I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.

Stay away from MAC's stuff, they are crap, rarely does any of their stuff fit right. You can check out several of the Mustang UBB's for the same opinions.
