Guy's with basicaly stock cars like mine with manual car's should try all the little tricks like i did (13 second garanteed). For guy's with automatic trans your basicaly scewed because trans internal won't hold the 60ft.Stock torque converter isn't that bad if your meter the load on it. WEIGHT TRANSFER MAN!!!!!!!!!! This is the trick............ If i put my street tires on the car and go back to the track,expect to see high 14's or even 15's. So next time when i say technic , Please dont laugh at me.......

Modifying the trans, changing the exhaust, upping the boost, disconnecting knock sensor and removing close to 400lbs from the car is NOT BONE STOCK...

I only "laughed" when you said technic because it isnt even a word, and I had no idea what you meant by it.

That said, with the MODIFICATIONS you have, that is a pretty respectable time. Hope the tranny holds up for you for a little before you have to swap in the C4

Ho i forgot,i don't personaly think that a 65 years old man driving with a poodle beside him be lifting the head to do the porting job.And is there anybody on this site with interesting parts for sale, so that i can start Modification>>>>>. And...........Put me on the list.

Still not sure what you mean by "technic". Good times posted by your car, I'm sorry but your car is not bone stock. Nice looking car though.

1988 TC 5m 3" elbow back exhaust(with cat and muffler), Walbro 255, gillis mbc, airbox removed w/ K&N cone, A/C removed, Spec clutch, Ranger roller swap.

"stock" means different things, to different people..
is a ported E6 still a stock part ? yes, but it's been modified..

but BONE STOCK always means
"as delivered/intended from the factory"

I add "intended", because a car may have been delivered with a mistake
e.g. the ignition timing off from what was 'intended' by the factory

Well, except for what i removed and trans rebuilt and piece of pipe to replace cat, long block and injection or ignition and all the components from the factory is untouched.Let's call this Bone tricky Stock.

These's cars are so heavy and slow on line that you really have to go hard with launch.After the launch i absolutely have no fun with the car.I'm even wondering if a stock ranger roller cam would help for higher rpm?

well i think we have all figured out that this car is not "stock from the factory"

i plan on going with a ported head with ranger roller (bigger eventually). ported intakes and ported e6, garrett .60/.84 (20-24psi depending on how i feel Big Grin ), SC throttlebody with matched upper intake, FMIC, water injection, and a good wideband tuning.

i hope i can pull off a 14 with that 'bone stock' setup Big Grin
