Doing some work on the TC today and found a messed up wire going into the plug at the EGR Control Solenoid behind the passenger-side front fenderwell. No biggie - I can fix this easily . Pulled the metal terminal out of the connector, fixed it, and went to put it back - the plastic connector was missing! Found it on the ground but now I don't know which wire goes in which hole! Can someone tell me which color wire is closer to the fender, the Yellow or the Red (or does it matter)? Thanks

From what I gather from the EVTM, there are actually two solenoids. the first is the EGR control solenoid, the second is the EGR vent solenoid. Both get their power from the red wire (circuit 361). The yellow wire (circuit 362) connects to the control solenoid, the dark green wire (circuit 360) connects to the vent solenoid.
Sorry but the book has no pictures of what wire goes where. I know this doesn't answer your question but it's at least a little info. It's raining out right now or I'd go look for you.

It's the arrangement of the red and yellow wires that plug into the two terminals on the EGR control solenoid (upper bracket on Pete's picture) that I need the info on (there is no dark green wire on my car).
There are white/pink and black/light green wires to the Turbo Pressure Switch (lower bracket) but these I don't have a problem with.
Any help is appreciated!

There is only one EGR solenoid on the TC. The solenoid electrically is just a coil of wire, and is not polarity sensitive (no built in diode kickback spike surpressor here). Which wire goes where doesnt matter.
