Was poking around my t-bird tonight and found that I have two reley in the engine bay that have a ton of corrison on them, and the wires are starting to burn up and the insulation pulling back on some of the wires.
The reley's I'm talking about are behind the intake, mounted to the firewall, right below a rubber seal for the hood. They have a plastic cap that they clip into.
Can someone tell me what these reley's are for?

And the other one is the hydraulic brake pump relay. Front one is pump relay, rear one is ABS relay.

so would it be a safe assumption that the reley's are still working sense I don't have an abs light on?

If you dont have the ABS light on or the red BRAKE light on, and you do have power braking, then, yes, both relays are working.

sounds like it won't work for long though.....
