Here's a heads up for you guys looking for an original "new" TC shift knob. They don't come up for sale very often, if you want one, take a look here-
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Thunderbird-Turb...40&vxp=mtr
I bought one on eBay about a year and a half ago for $150, they are asking $200 for this one.

That's crazy money unless you're going to do a full resto (or have a resto that needs one). A lot to pay for the word "TURBO" at the bottom.

To whom it may concern, I was the one that listed the knob on ebay. I tried to sell it on here without any luck, and for the one calling me a nut, I paid $190 for the knob several years ago, and after ebay and paypal gets their share, I barely broke even. But, go and try to find a nos knob for $150, you would be very hard, if not impossible to find. I still have 2 left, and if I did sell them, I would take any less than $200. That is my opinion.

OK, Im the nut that said nut , but only saying I guess what nut would sell this and guess what nut would pay the 200 , but yes it did sell and price of every thing is always going up , yes, I too sell NOS parts for our Birds . I understand trying to get your money back , I just sold a shifter boot and my friend now needs the knob, but I did not have one and tried to put in an offer for 150 . Don't hate me for the nut thing ,, sorry for that . D.Wilder

Looks like it sold. As for the price, it's worth whatever someone's willing to pay for it. I don't think $200 is too far off for a real NOS knob. I scan eBay and other parts sights for TC parts just about every day, I only see 1 or 2 come up for sale a year, they are very, very rare.

If memory serves me correctly, the NOS SVO knobs went a lot higher than $200 when they got real scarce.
