I removed the Adjustable Cam Sprocket and put the Stock Sprocket back on. This seems to help a great deal and it doesn't die anymore [Image: smile.gif]. Guess I didn't get the Adjustable Sprocket right ?????

It also runs a lot better at 12 deg's BTDC base timing than 10 deg's.

I'll keep tweeking.

FINALLY got my 4th wheel polished today...! If it's clear tomorrow, I'll get some pictures of the old girl...

Believe it or not, all that's left is to get my registration in the mail then Emissions Inspection (gulp)...then off to Carlisle.

What in the Hell am I going to do with myself now (don't answer that Nate...)???? Wait, it's a TC...I'll have something I have to fix any day now LOL !

Dan... What exactly is wrong with the adj sprocket? is the degree indicator thing loose and rotating around? I think you said you got it from RW? Is it their own design, or is it the Race Engineering sprocket that they sell?

Emissions: Hope it doesnt take you as long for them to run the test as it did me. Had to go in for my IM240 test just last month. THe inspection stations are state run, and they run the 4 min chassis dyno emission test, but on pre 96 cars they do not open the hood to check for non legal mods (thank God for that!!!!!), all they do is look under the car to see if you have a cat. Anyway, I pull my 88 TC up, and a 18 year old girl employee hops in the car to run the driving cycle test, and she says "oh, its a stick shift", and frowns -- at this point I am thinking WTF?? She couldnt follow the speed vs. time profile on the computer screen worth a shit, and the test kept coming up invalid. It took this bimbo HALF AN HOUR to finially get it right. At least I had turned on my cooling fan manually before I got out of the car, or the motor would have probably melted down to slag.
